FWG: 5.21.17 @ Lappingas

GNG church,

We hope you are doing well this week. It is amazing how life can become so full with good things and things that continue to cause stress and anxiety. It is our hope that you all are able to sense life as Christ's church - full of meaning even in the mundane, while living in confidence of the hope of the gospel amid the tension of depravity that still exists in our world.

That was a mouthful! But, Tamara and I will be taking a short recess this weekend away from our regular gathering to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary! I'm not sure where we are going, but I am very excited for this brief reprieve.

In the meantime - we do still hope you are able to gather as the church at the Lappingas! They live at 1414 Hazen St. SE GR and if you want to communicate with them before hand - you can do so by emailing them at Lappinga@sbcglobal.net. I'm confident that the called out ones who live there at the Lappinga Monastery will put together a time of continued trusted relationships, formative worship and hear what God is doing in the midst of our parishes. So - come be encouraged, equipped and empowered to be disciples and make disciples of Jesus in the places you live, work and play.

Also - a quick note we will not be gathering over Memorial Day Weekend May (27th-29th) - unfortunately, as we took a brief poll, nearly everyone said they were going to be unable to attend. I look forward to taking the next few weeks to further hear where God may be calling as his community - so when we come back together in June - be ready to move mountains. ;)
