FWG: Setting our Mind to the Cross & the season of Lent (only 13 days away!)

Friends,

Another week is near its end with it being Friday already tomorrow - and we have some terrific weather in store for us over the next week! Almost 7 days forecasted to be in the 50's. :) I hope you are able to get outside in your neighborhoods, do a hobby with some friends, maybe brew some beer, make some wine, get your garden ready for the spring - you name it!

FAMILY WORSHIP GATHERING THIS SUNDAY:

It was so good to share the wine and the bread of Jesus with many of you last week. That was the most full I ever felt after sharing the sacrament - it actually was my meal for the night! We hope you are able to join us again for another FWG this Sunday at 7pm.

We will be starting to set our minds toward the cross as Lent is just around the corner (March 1st - only 13 days away)!

FWG will be at the Kas household: 1800 Boston St. SE. at 7pm. We hope you can gather with us. Help us to plan on you by filling out this RSVP. If you normally come and we are just planning on you at this point - fill it out if you cannot make it - or if a friend will be attending with you!

A QUICK VIDEO OF SPACES OF BEING THE CHURCH:

If you have just 3 1/2 minutes, I also encourage you to check out this video by JR Woodward. It is a neat and quick run down of different spaces of being the church. JR mentions: Intimate Space, Personal Space, Social Space and Public Space. It is similar to what we first starting visioning when we shared our original spaces of gathering, which makes up the Good News Gatherings. You can see that if you scroll down on the home page of this website.

Blessings,

Eric
